Bank Owned Home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa
Hurry! this one is priced at $299,900 and won’t last long on market!

This bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa is in a great neighborhood. Education Hill is a coveted neighborhood because of the award winning schools, because it is right next to downtown Redmond and because it is minutes away from the main Microsoft campus.
Bank Owned Home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa
At one time this bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa was a small house. It has been added onto every way but up. The kitchen was expanded, the family room was extended back behind the garage and the master bedroom had a wing built onto the other end of the house.

The kitchen in this bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa was expanded. It now covers what used to be the Bank Owned Home in Education Hill, Redmond, Waeating area. It has a new dishwasher and stove and
when they remodeled and expanded it a few years ago they put in oak cabinets and granite counter tops.

The kitchen opens up to a large eating area/dining room/ family room with a fireplace. From there the addition of a large bonus room/family room extends into the back yard. That addition to this bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa has a vaulted ceiling, lots of windows, and a double door leading to the patio.

In a house of this vintage there are lots of real hardwood oak floors. Back in the 1960s they used to put hardwood in the living room, and down the hall. The former owners wanted to make it all look similar, so most of the rest of this bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa has pergo type “hardwood floors”.

The master bedroom in this bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa was extended to make it a good size. It has Bank Owned Home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wavaulted ceilings, lots of windows, and a double door leading to a master bedroom deck. In addition, it has a large walk-in closet with shelves and its own private bath, fully remodeled and tiled.

In the middle of this bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa at the back is a large cement patio with access from the master bedroom and also from the family room. The former owners used to have a hot tub right in the middle of the patio.

Alert - the back 20 feet or so is county owned! it is supposed to be a greenbelt. The former owners took out the trees and took the space over as their own. There is a small basket ball court in the back yard. Roughly half of that is on county land.So the small basketball court in this bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa encroaches on county land. Will they come and make you take out half of your basket ball court? Maybe. They have not done so in the last 24 years, but one never knows.

Also, the Redmond High School ball fields are RIGHT BEHIND this house. Is that good or bad? I asked the neighbor that question. He said, “Young people playing sports is a happy sound. Even when it is noisy, it is a sound I enjoy.” So I guess it is all about perspective. If it would bother you intensely, this bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa may not be the house for you.
Bank Owned Home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa
One more thing. The former owners  stripped this bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa on their way out. The bank has done extensive work getting it into selling condition, but it is still missing a few things. There is no mantle over the fireplace. There is no counter top in the counter in the family room area. Neither bathroom has a sink or the cabinet. (Who needs a sink in the bathroom any way, right?) It used to have a built in vacuum cleaner, a hot tub and an air conditioner, so there are hookups for all of those.

This bank owned home in Education Hill, Redmond, Wa is a great buy in a great neighborhood. Call me today at 206-409-6600 so you do not miss out!
