Ahhh - the summer weddings!
We went to the wedding of one of our dear friend’s daughters. It was outdoors, late summer, in Bothell Washington.
The weather was perfect. The wedding was beautiful.
When the wedding was done, the reception started off with a father daughter dance.
They played a song that I loved when it first came out, and it still brings a sigh and a tear when I hear it.
Here, for your enjoyment, is the father daughter dance.

Hi RJ
Thanks.
I cry every time I hear that song.
(We raised two daughters, and now have two granddaughters as well)
Phil
It makes me cry, too. Thanks Phil.
I love this song... Everytime I hear this song, I think about our girls' wedding someday.... I have two and one will leave for college in CA next week. She is ready to spread her wings.... I dread the day when we drop her off at her dorm and I pray that God will give me strength.
Thank you for sharing this special video. Someday, it will be my daughters and my husband's turn to dance. eek, I am so not ready...
Hi Yuno,
We haven't chatted for a while.
Thanks for your comments.
Looking back on what you are heading toward, we have often said - "We adored our girls. But we are happy to be just the two of us..."
NOW, our joy is to have the two youngest grandchildren two days a week!
