Many of Kirkland’s public art sculptures are located near the waterfront and the parks, but there are some public art sculptures featured throughout the downtown area. Stroll through beautiful downtown Kirkland in the Moss Bay neighborhood and keep your eyes open for the various Art Sculptures in Kirkland, WA!

“Carousel” is a fun and playful sculpture located in front of the Kirkland Public Library. The Kirkland Library is next door to many community services of Kirkland including the Performance Theatre, Peter Kirk Park, Community Pool, Transit Center, and more. The library is also next door to the famous Heathman Hotel and is across the street from another famous city sculpture. “Carousel” is made of bronze and aluminum patina and features a family riding carousel animals. The loved art piece was created by Richard Beyer and was donated to the city as a gift by The Shinstrom family in 1995.“Betty Lou” can be found guarding the property of Banner Bank and Kirkland Bicycle. This sculpture is found on a bench right outside the bank and faces apartment studios. “Betty Lou” is modeled after the owner of one of Kirkland’s first galleries.

Head to Park Place Center and you are sure to enjoy your time browsing the various shops, studios, coffeeshops, fitness center,  bookstore, and or eating at the variety of ethnic and casual dining restaurants. Park Place Center is also located directly by Perter Kirk Park, Kirkland Performance Theatre, www.ilovekirkland.orgCommunity Pool, and more! It is the perfect place to spend a day with family and friends. Head to Park Place Center and meet near the centrally located water fountain and you will see another loved Kirkland art piece. “Jessica, Jake, and Annie” is a bronze sculpture perched by the fountain which portrays the friendliness of the area and the fun possibilities of a day in the city of Kirkland! The sculpture was created by Kate Hiddleston.
